You are the tying run on thirdbase with one out. You get picked off on a snap throw to third? I don't know that I have ever seen a player picked off on a snap throw to third. Yet alone when you are the tying run.
Burnitz has played better than I expected this year. The scary part is: history tells us Burnitz is bad. Burnitz' second half could be awful. The player that we saw on Friday was the player I saw while he was with the Mets, Brewers and Rockies. When you sign bad players you get plays like we saw on Friday afternoon.
