Cubs & the City Play Nice!

The Tribune is reporting that the Cubs and the City Planning Commision have agreed on replacing the 48 folding chairs down the RF line with 32 permanent seats. The Cubs are gonna make these seats similar to the 200 seats behind home and build a shorter brickwall around them. No word yet on the seats pricing but I'd bet it'll be the same as the Premium seats behind home. The rotating ad board behind home plate was signed off on by the commision at the same time.

This proposal will go before the Landmark Commision on Thursday. If it is approved there it will go before Chicago City Council for final approval. This is Chicago people. It can't be that easy, can it? Stay tuned, this could still get ugly!
