On Friday the Cubs trimmed their roster. RHP Roberto Novoa (from Detroit in the deal for Farnsworth) was optioned to Iowa. David Crouthers (part of the Sosa deal) was optioned to West Tenn. LHP Raul Valdez, OF Adam Greenberg, C Jose Reyes and C Robinson Cancel were sent to the minor league camp.

Bill Holden's walk from Arizona to Chicago is approaching Dallas/Fort Worth. Bill started walking on January 11th in Arizona. He'll arrive at Wrigley Fd. on June 30th. That's 2100 miles. You can track where Bill's at on This Old Cub.com. All proceeds from Bill's walk will support JDRF.
