Opening Day Boxscore

The '95 Cubs were not scheduled to open in Cincy. The strike, that cancelled the '94 World Series, made this opener possible. This was the first game under the MacPhail/Lynch/Riggleman regime. At that time I was just happy that the Himes & Treblehorn were mercifully gone. The '95 team would finish 2 games over at 73-71. It was actually the teams second winning season in three(the Lefebvre team in '93 was the other). The Opening Day starter for the 1995 Cubs...Jim Bullinger. Take a peak at the leadoff hitter for the Redlegs.
